Green Ant Inc. is committed to the instigation and management of arts and cultural events in our region. The organisation coordinates an annual program of community arts, cultural and heritage events.
Our office is located at the North Queensland Conservatorium of Music and Performing Arts, Innisfail; a regional town renowned for its art deco features and situated in the lush Cassowary Coast region.

Our goals are:
- To enrich the life of the shire
through arts, heritage & cultural activities
- To celebrate the uniqueness of
the shire’s natural, built and human resources through
all cultural activities
- To develop a recognizable cultural
identity for the shire
- To particularly encourage and support
activities which look to the cultural needs of minority
groups
- To recognise and celebrate the
rich diversity of our community
- To promote the social, emotional,
spiritual and intellectual benefits of arts, heritage and
culture
- To strengthen economic wellbeing
of the shire through arts, heritage and cultural activities

Green Ant Inc. is also committed to
providing the following services to the community:
- Assistance to community groups
and individuals with project planning and funding applications
- Auspicing of grants for community
groups and individuals
- Facilitation of arts, cultural
and heritage projects
- Organisation of community and district
events
- Hosting of workshops and performances.
Green Ant Inc is a non profit community
based organisation entirely funded by grants, sponsorship,
membership and donations.
