The Cassowary Coast Region is rich in culture and history, with many talented Artist living in the area and a vibrant Multuicultural community this is celebrated through out the Karnivale
Innisfail Art Society “Karnivale” Exhibition
Celebrating life in the tropics the exhibition reuns for two weeks from the 18 September until the 8 October in the Central Gallery Central Arcade.
“Sunset of the Cemetery”
On Sunday 12 October the Innisfail District Historical Society is hosting their 3rd Cemetery walk the “Sunset of the Cemetery” being at 6pm at the cemetery the historical society will tell stories of the pioneers of the Johnstone region.
Cassowary Coast Camera Club Northern Light Exhibition
At 6.30pm on Friday, 10th October is the Cassowary Coast Camera Clubs Exhibition Open of their Northern Lights exhibition, featuring works by local photographers the photos reflecting life in the tropics.
Cassowary Coast Short Film Festival
“Everyone's life is a hero's journey” - Short Film Festival will begin at 7.30pm on Friday 10th October at the Con, featuring locally made films as well as a selection of professional films, entry is $10.
Greek Dinner Dance
In the evening of Saturday, 4th October, is the Greek Dinner Dance. Featuring delicious tradition Greek food, lots of dancing and music by Tully band Deluge. It is sure to be a great night and lots of fun. Every one is welcome to come along. The dinner will be held at Wangan Hall at 6.30pm, admission is $25.00
Nunsensations - The Vegas Revue
Beginning on Wednesday 16 October and running thorough until the 25 is the Innisfail Choral Society and Innisfail Theatre Group’s presentation of Nunsensations.

Innisfail Harvest Festival
The culmination of the Innisfail Karnivale, the Harvest Festival is held on Saturday 11 October. Starting at 2.30pm, it is an afternoon and evening packed full of fun and excitement for all.
